Stepping Stone Home Solutions was born out of both experience and frustration. After years of navigating traditional real estate investing, we realized something critical: the system is broken. Housing costs are rising, families are getting priced out, and too many real estate models prioritize short-term profit over long-term value.
We knew there had to be a better way—one that delivered predictable returns for investors while solving real problems in real communities.
So we created it.

Hey, I'm Carole Osborne!
CO-FOUNDER | REAL ESTATE INVESTOR | SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR
Carole is a purpose-driven investor and problem solver with over 20 years of real estate experience and a background in neonatal intensive care nursing. After stepping away from a 30-year nursing career to care for her mother, Carole discovered the power of passive income and long-term real estate investments—shifting her focus from healthcare to housing transformation.
Her personal journey fuels her passion for creating scalable, sustainable solutions that benefit both communities and investors.
Carole’s portfolio includes long-term rentals, lease-to-own properties, commercial assets, and co-living homes. She’s a licensed Realtor with advanced designations (SRES, CIAS) and uses that knowledge to source undervalued properties and deliver strong returns.
In addition to real estate, Carole gives back as a mentor and financial educator with Saving Amy, an organization helping families overcome homelessness. She also volunteers with her son and their therapy dog, Skye—bringing joy and comfort to those in need.

CO-FOUNDER | CPA| CO-LIVING STRATEGIST
With 30 years of experience in accounting and organizational leadership, Stephanie brings precision, dedication, and heart to everything she does. After building systems for multimillion-dollar companies across health, manufacturing, and behavioral health sectors, she shifted her focus to what matters most: helping people access affordable housing.
Today, she leads operations and financial strategy at Stepping Stone, applying her deep expertise in budgeting, leasing, and proper management systems to ensure every project runs efficiently and ethically. Stephanie is also a passionate advocate for financial literacy and co-hosts two YouTube podcasts—The Real Stephanie Trotta and MoneyMinds—where she empowers both parents and professionals to take charge of their financial futures.
Based in Maricopa County, AZ, Stephanie is currently scaling her co-living portfolio using the PadSplit model, with a goal of launching 100 rooms by end of 2025.
